Box pleated lampshade S
1 700 kr
Designed for bedside lamps and side tables, our box pleated lampshade is crafted in Sweden using premium fabrics from selected European textile houses. The pleated outer shade is carefully fitted over the included inner lampshade, creating its distinctive layered shape. Each shade is unique and small variations in pattern and colour may occur.
Please note that the lamp base is not included.
Waltzer, Linwood
Waltzer is a fabric from Linwood, a British fabric house known for combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design. Linwood has a real talent for colour, pattern and texture, with a playful and creative design philosophy.
Waltzer, with its softly waved edges in green and blue, is a playful fabric that brings to mind sound waves.
We especially like to pair it with other small-scale patterned fabrics to create a lively, layered whole.

We recommend using LED bulbs only, as they produce minimal heat and are gentler on both fabric and lining. Excessive heat from traditional bulbs may affect the lampshade’s shape, colour, and overall longevity. As with all textiles, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause natural fading over time. For best preservation, avoid placing the lampshade in strong direct sun.
To clean, gently remove dust using a soft dry cloth or a delicate brush attachment. Do not use water or cleaning products.
Measurements are taken at the widest point and may vary by a few millimetres, since every shade is shaped by hand.

Questions & answers
How do I know which size lampshade to choose?
We offer five different lampshade models and sizes, designed to work with a range of lamp bases. The right choice will depend on the proportions and size of your base. If you are unsure which one to choose, take a look at our size guide, where you can see all five options with their measurements and compare them on different lamps.
See the size guideWhat type of fitting do your lampshades have?
Our lampshades come with different fittings depending on the model and size.
Our XS, S and Box pleated shades have a bulb clip fitting, which attaches directly to the light bulb.
Our M and L shades have a duplex fitting and require an adjustable shade carrier to attach the shade to your lamp base. Please note that the shade carrier is not included and needs to be purchased separately.
Not sure what these fittings mean or how they work? Our fitting guide explains each one and how it is used.
Read the fitting guideCan your lampshades be used as ceiling shades?
Yes. Our M and L lampshades can also be used as ceiling shades with an adapter ring. We sell the adapter separately, allowing the shade to be fitted to a ceiling light.
If you would like to use one of our shades as a ceiling shade, please contact us by email and we will arrange the correct adapter for you.
What type of light bulb do you recommend?
We recommend using LED bulbs with all of our lampshades. LED bulbs produce much less heat than traditional incandescent bulbs, making them a better choice for protecting the shade and its fabric over time.
For our XS, S and Box pleated shades, we recommend a small, round LED bulb. The shape allows the bulb clip fitting to sit securely and gives the shade the best fit.
What if the lampshade does not fit my lamp base?
If the shade is not right for your lamp, you have 14 days to return your purchase.
Please note that our standard return policy does not apply to custom or special order lampshades, as these are made specifically for you.
We recommend checking the measurements in our size guide before ordering to make sure the proportions will work with your lamp base.
Read the return policyHow much light will the lampshade let through?
The amount of light that passes through the shade depends mainly on the colour and thickness of the fabric.
Lighter fabrics generally allow more light to pass through, while darker colours create a more subdued glow. The weight and weave of the fabric also make a difference, with thicker fabrics allowing less light through than finer ones.
Keep in mind that the appearance of the fabric can change slightly when the lamp is switched on, particularly with lighter or more translucent materials.
