Inspiration

Where the ideas begin

Each collection grows from a quiet conversation between colour, pattern and material. We gather inspiration from art, architecture, British textile traditions and the kind of homes we ourselves dream of creating. Moodboards, swatches and sample shades are allowed to take their time. Only when the colours sing together is a shade ready to launch.

Fabrics with character

We source our fabrics from selected European textile houses with a long tradition of textile craft, from classic stripes and block printed florals to more vivid patterns. Every metre of fabric carries a history of mills, designers and homes, and every roll is chosen for both its expression and its lasting quality.

Made close to us

Our shades are hand sewn in Europe, in small editions by experienced craftspeople. Working closely with our makers gives us full control over the entire chain, from the origin of the fabric to working conditions and final finish. It is a deliberate choice: to do fewer things, and to do them well.
